About
Kin is an international collective of musicians, producers and arrangers aiming to use music
to highlight the things people have in common as opposed to their differences. Their lyrics
reference themes of consciousness, spirituality, and how religions share common moral principles. They draw inspiration from folk music traditions as well as classical and pop genres. Their goal is to inspire reflection on higher consciousness and finding meaning through art and community.
We worked with the to define their brand strategy and create a brand identity that would allow them to connect with their audiences, especially in the online spaces they post their music.


Kʼin (Mayan [kʼin]) : Sun, sunlight.
Kin (English /kĭn/ ): One's relatives or family. / A relative or family member. / Organisms that are genetically related to another or others.
The accompanying graphics and illustrations for this brand were inspired by Mayan birds. Playing on the idea of community and music, birds were used as a a visual symbol for the brand.
